Dragons are creatures of myth and legend, however some still say that Dragons were once living creatures on our planet, however there has yet to be proof of such a thing, the only evidence is that all nations, Europe, China ect. All had pictures and writings of Dragons before they even had any form of contact. As all stories and images of Dragons were extremely similar, this is what drove a lot of speculation as to whether Dragons did once exist. Scientists have said that the only reason different nations had images of Dragons was from a combination of our imagination and our instinctive knowledge of 3 primary predators of humans - Birds of prey, Snakes and Big cats. When you combine these three images - of a bird, snake and cat, you can somewhat get the image of a Dragon.

Dragons have been a large part in medieval stories, myths and legends in the European parts. China have had many stories of Oriental Dragons, the more serpentine style of Dragon that can fly without wings.
